Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office Deputies Are Investigation Numerous Larcenies From Vehicles And A String Of Related Burglaries.
Deputies Say The Thefts Occurred Overnight On Friday And Into The Early Morning On Saturday In The Towns Of Mentz, Throop And Montezuma.
During One Of The Thefts, A Subject Was Confronted While He Was In The Process Of Stealing Items From A Vehicle.
The Subject Fled The Scene, But The Victim Described Him As A White Male In His Late Teens Or Early Twenties With Short, Blonde Hair And A Thin, Five-Foot-Eleven Build.
The Vehicle Is Described As A Dark Colored Mid-1980’s Sedan With A Square Back Window And Square Taillights.
